| The
Personal Progressive Scheme & Proficiency Badges
The Personal Progressive Scheme and Proficiency Badges are
weaved together so that the cub can achieve both at the
same time. The scheme has been designed to meet the various
needs of youngsters today.
The Progressive Scheme is split into
five stages, namely: Tenderpaw, Bronze Arrow, Silver Arrow,
Gold Arrow and the Link Badge. In these arrows, we learn
various things about scouting, the environment, about our
country and lots more. Every arrow carries with it badges
that can be gained while working on topics and projects
of various subjects. Click here

Proficiency Badges provides the opportunity
for the Cub Scout to achieve recognition in a wide area
of choices. The range of badges is designed in such a way
that they can be achieved outside the Cub Scout Programme
if necessary. Badges cater for the cub with varied interests
and talents, which when awarded, acknowledge the cub's involvement
inside and outside scouting. Here is the list of the badges
one can achieve. (View all the
badges here.) |
