A farewell Parade in honour of the South District Commissioner Mr Lino Bonnici was organised.

Our group met at the doors of Tarxien Temples together with the Zejtun group. We marched to Paola Parish Church where a mass was held in Mr Bonnici’s honour. Afterwards we marched back and Mr Bonnici was given the last salute by all. A speech was read by one of the south district scouts and the Commissioner addressed all those present and expressed his contentment with the performance of the South District Groups. He also encouraged more cooperation to achieve greater satisfaction in the future with the Newly appointed District Commissioner Mr Martin Bonnici. After his speech, Mr Bonnici was presented with a momento frop all the groups to thank him for all the work he had done in the past ten years for the South District. Various groups from the South District attended this commemoration and apart that the weather was freezing everything went well.
