Six South District scout groups took part in this year’s activity, which was held at Xgħajra headquarters. Each group, namely Xgħajra, Zabbar, Zurrieq, Marsa, Tarxien and Birżebbuġa had to prepare and bring along a magic box full of craft items. As soon as we arrived, Mr Martin Bonnici, SD Commissioner, divided the scouts in six teams, each made up of two scouts from three different scout groups. We had to work out a craft relating to the District and 100 years of scouting. We were judged on creativity, teamwork and presentation of our craft. Birżebbuġa troop participate regularly in this yearly activity and we are always happy to meet, play and work with other scouts from our district. However, this year was extra special since one of our teams together with Zabbar and Zurrieq scouts were awarded Certificate of Outstanding Achievement. Thus we are the bearers of the Miggiani Shield for the coming year!! Well done everyone !!
