Eighteen scouts
together with SL and ASL attended for this weekend camp. We
arrived at Rinella Scout Centre at 5pm and were divided into
patrols. We pitched the domes and settled in. Knotting and
lashings were the first on our programe and then some games
and night watch. Saturday some
mothers joined us for the day activities which included a
Treasure hunt in Vittoriosa, lecture and practice of open
fire cooking and safety, badge work and mass at Kalkara
Parish Church. After dinner and duties, we had a trivia
quiz and scouts’ own. Then it was lights’ out and night
watch.
The next morning was our last day. After breakfast and duties we gathered all
our equipment and started to strike the tents. This was one
of the best camps we ever had for the troop. I really
enjoyed myself.
