On Sunday 4th February 2007 at 8 am we left B’Buga to go horse riding at Għajn Tuffieħa. We were fourteen scouts together with our Scout leader Josephine Gatt, Assistant Scout leader Yanika Spiteri and helper Raymond Abdilla.
  As soon as we arrived we were divided into two groups. They had very beautiful horses. I was in the first group and was given a horse called Brox, which was the same one I rode last year. Unfortunately on that occasion I fell off the horse and if it were not for the helmet, I would have cracked my skull!! Other horses had strange names like Brandy, Smokie and Prince.
  We rode our horses through rocky field passages in Għajn Tuffieħa for one hour. Luckily, this year nobody fell off his horse. We are getting better everytime!! When our ride was over, it was time for the second group. In the meantime, we enjoyed ourselves playing squash with a tennis ball and eating our lunch. As soon as the others came back, we packed our things and went on the bus. Then Valentina could not find her mobile, so we had to go on a treasure hunt ……. After searching in vain for about ten minutes, she rechecked her bag and found it there – in silent mode!! Heaven help us : Women!! At 12.45pm we arrived back at B’Buga, having enjoyed this activity to the full. We thanked our leaders and went home.
