2006
Mr. Mark Farrugia, Mr. Joseph Farrugia, Ms.
Adelaide Azzopardi and Mr. Reuben Azzopardi joined the group
as leaders with the pack section.
Ms. Sandra Pulis joined the group as leader with the pack.
Mr. Ronald Azzopardi re-joined the group as a leader.
In August, Mr. Adrian Farrugia "Akela" resigned from
section leader.
Ms. Lorraine Pace take over as Akela.
Signing of agreement with MATS (Malta Air Traffic
Services) for the use of part of their grounds
as a campsite.
28th May 2006. Official opening of Gunner's House.
2005
Ms. Ruth Pulis Joined the group as leader with the pack.

Mr. Adrian Farrugia and Ms. Josephine Gatt joined the Maltese contingent for the "EuroJam 2006"
which took place in the UK.
Mr. Bastian Azzopardi take over the venture unit.
2004
Mr Edward and Mrs Marlene Busuttil resign from
the troop section and move back to the cubs section.
Mrs Josephine Gatt and Ms Yanika Spiteri take over the troop
section.
The Group have been granted a new H.Q. unofficially and
works started.
2003
Scarlet Feather, Golden Quill (packs) and our Venture
Unit become officially inaugurated in March 2003.
Mr Richard Mifsud and Ms Deborah Xuereb resigned from the
Troop.
Mr Edward and Mrs Marlene Busuttil take over the troop section.
Mr Omar Livori take over the Venture Unit.
Mr Ian Azzopardi joins in as a prospective Leader.
2002
Five leaders joined the pack : Marlene and Edward Busuttil,
Gertude Bonnici, Roberta Cassar re-joined the group and
Yanika Spiteri. It was a very busy year with all activities
being held together with the opening of a new pack.
2001
Mr Omar Livori, joined the group as an Assistant
Scout Leader.
1999
The group officially appointed as a co-education group.
The Cub Section has its first girl members, so now the whole
group was co-educational.
After 14 years of service towards the group, G.S.L., Mr
Anthony Xuereb resigned from the group. His service
and work will always be treasured and we thank him for his
service.
Ms Deborah Xuereb and Mr Richard Mifsud, both scouts, become
acting leaders. Mrs Josephine Gatt joined the group as an
Assistant Cub Scout Leader.
1997 / 1998
IIn mid-year 1997, Ms Roberta Cassar joined
the Troop section but in mid-year 1998 she resigned.
An ex-scout, Ms Lorraine Brincat joined the group as an
Assistant Cub Scout Leader.
1995/1996
Mr Jesmond Borg resigned from the pack and was
appointed as Scout Leader with the troop section
Mrs Susan Brincat resigned from the post of CSL. She was
then appointed as an Assistant Cub Scout Leader.
Mr Adrian Farrugia was appointed as a Cub Scout Leader.
1994
By the end of this year, Mr Steve Meachen left
the group and that was a big blow to all the scouts. He
was loved by the entire Troop for his sense of adventure,
nobility and humour.
1993
This year saw a major change in its policy. The
Scout Association started to change the policy internationally
and the co-education system was being implemented. Our group
was one of the five pilot groups who started to adopt the
co-education system.
1991
During this year Mr Adrian Farrugia joined as an
Assistant Cub Scout Leader as well.
1990
Mr Michael Balzia re-joined the group as ASL.
Mr Silvio Scerri resigned from the post of Auxiliary.
Mr Jesmond Borg was appointed Assistant Cub Scout Leader.
1989
As Mr Xuereb was now GSL, a new post for SL was needed.
Mr Ronald Azzopardi left the post of ASL and the need for
an SL was now rather imporant.
Mr Steve Meachen joined the group as the Scout Leader.
1988
This year saw the change in our Group Scout Leader.
Mr John Mizzi resigned from the post of GSL and Mr Anthony
Xuereb was appointed in his stead. Mr Sandro Mangion resigned
as well and Mr Silvio Scerri was appointed auxiliary to
fill Mr Mangion's post.
1987
By the beginning of the year, the Cub Scout Section
was flourishing. Yet Robert was the only leader within the
section. Mrs Susan Brincat, (who is still active till today)
was appointed assistant cub scout leader and another scout,
Mr Sandro Mangion was appointed auxiliary.
The Group Council, now was thinking
to obtain our own H.Q. and on the 18th of October, the group
got a new H.Q. just few doors down from the current one,
where we are still meeting till today. The place was rented
to us by Mr Mallia, who is our Honorary President.
1986
As the Troop was getting bigger, the need of an
assistant scout leader was needed. Mr Ronald Azzopardi,
who was also a scout, was appointed an assistant scout leader.
1985
As the group was popular in B'Buga, and teenagers
were eager to join, we had requests from the smaller brothers
and other youngster to join. Therefore, in January the cubs
section was formed. Mr Michael Balzia was the first Cub
Scout Leader of the Group. More leaders started to join
as well and in March Mr Anthony Xuereb joined as the Scout
Leader with the Troop followed by Mrs Josianne Attard who
joind the Cub Scout Section as an Assistant Cub Scout Leader.
By the end of the year, both Michael
and Josianne left the Group and that left the Cub Scout
Section without an Akela. Robert Farrugia, who at that time
was a scout showed interest in taking the responsiblity
of the cub section and he was appointed as an acting cub
scout leader.
1983 / 1984
The group was again formed in December 1983 but
officially opened in May 1984. During the first few months,
all the members were being trained and taught the law and
promise, salutes, marching and all important things a group
must know. The Group was made up of the Scouts section only
at that time. Meetings were being held in the premises held
by the Youth Centre in Our Lady of Sorrow Street.
The Group Scout Leader was Mr John
Mizzi helped by Mr Ian Azzopardi (Scout Leader) and Mr Michael
Balzia (Assistant Scout Leader).
On May 1984, an official opening of
the Group was inaugurated. On that special day a Mass was
held at St.Peter Parish Church and all the Commissioners
were present. The South District was also invited to attend
the ceremony.
After the mass, the Investiture ceremony
was held on the square , were 15 young teenagers were invested
infront of a nice crowd, who witnessed the ceremony. There
was a happy atmosphere and parents of those boys were really
happy taking photos of their sons wearing the uniform.
1984 was a really hectic year for the
leaders. New friends within the district were being made
and in summer of that year, a joint summer camp was organised
together with the Naxxar group.
